Support the Orthodox Church of Ukraine!

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine, led by His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv, is the fifteenth autocephalous (independent) local Church within the worldwide Eastern Orthodox Church.

Over one-third of Ukrainians belong to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The Moscow Patriarchate, Russian government, and Russian propagandists have committed themselves to oppressing Ukrainian Orthodox Christians and blocking recognition of their Church.

Currently, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine enjoys recognition from and full communion with the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Greek Orthodox Church of Alexandria, and the Orthodox Church of Greece. They also have the support of bishops, clergy, and laity from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Georgia, and other places.

Ukraine is an independent nation and, as such, deserves to have their own independent Orthodox Church - free from any foreign political influence (especially from Russia). We therefore appeal for other Orthodox Churches to ignore threats from the Moscow Patriarchate and recognize the Orthodox Church of Ukraine!
