Proposed Charter School Reaches Final Step
The chartering of NOBLE Virtual School of South Carolina is now on the last step of the process – a hearing in front of the Board of Trustees of the South Carolina Public Charter School District.
This hearing will be in early August. As part of the requirements, NOBLE Virtual needs to provide evidence that there is sufficient parent and student interest to actually open the school in the fall of 2014. Please help us convince the charter office that South Carolina wants 21st century education for its children!
Most online schools are passive - "read this - post to the discussion board - take this multiple-choice test." At NOBLE VIRTUAL, however, students use their avatars to explore an array of immersive, interactive 3D learning adventures including role-play, historical reenactments, mock trials, digital story-telling, virtual labs and field trips.
