Call an extraordinary Member's Meeting of the BC Libertarian Party

For the last four months there has been constant complaints from former candidates, and various members all regarding the direction and leadership of the Vancouver based Executive board.

So far they are down two key members, and one was a doctor and biggest donor. After reading both resignation letters it's pretty clear that there is something seriously wrong with our leadership. For a party which is supposed to be about fiscal responsibility it sounds like the leaders spend the money we contribute about as wisely as a real government or a mainstream political party.

I joined this party for a change because I am tired of BS in BC, getting more of the same from our government year after year. I did not sign up for more of the same. Did you?

Our constitution says that we, the membership can kick them out by forcing an emergency AGM as listed here:

BYLAW VIII.GENERAL MEMBERS MEETING OF THE PARTY

4. A General Members Meeting is to occur every 12 months as a minimum, at a place and time determined by the Executive Council. If at least 20% of the current Full Members of the Party state in writing with associated signatures (may be digital signatures) that a session of the General Members Meeting is requested, the Executive Council must call such a meeting within 3 months of receiving the request.

Lets give this board the boot and have leadership that better serves our common interests. Only 40-50 signatures needed!
