A helpless elephant may have been poisoned to death!

Add your name if you think local authorities should conduct an investigation and bring the perpetrator to justice!

"A female Borneo elephant whose carcass was found near the Malua Forest Reserve ... is believed to have been poisoned.

"Sabah Wildlife Department director Augustine Tuuga said based on the post-mortem conducted three days ago, he was not ruling out poisoning as the cause of death of the animal which was estimated to be between five and 10-years-old.

"Initial investigations found no external injuries on the elephant but based on the post-mortem report, there was bleeding in the spleen and kidney including ulcer," he said when contacted here today," reported Malay Mail.

Internal bleeding.

Imagine how much that poor girl must have suffered before she died.

"Augustine said the department was also waiting for the laboratory test results," according to the same source.

Don't you think local authorities should do whatever it takes to bring the criminal to justice, if it turns out she was poisoned, so they can't strike again?

If they don't take immediate action, more defenseless animals could die.

That's why we're calling on Nasri Mansor, Lahad Datu Police Chief, to launch an investigation into the death of this poor elephant.

Don't you want to protect innocent animals from cruel people who want to poison them?

Then add your name to help get justice!
