On January 1,2019 my brother was in a car accident on the intersection on Hoffer and Malabar, which took his life. His family and friends placed a memorial cross at the scene of the accident on January 8th to honor him, and bring awareness to what happened. Then on March 19, a sign was posted at the memorial of Zach Caufield by the county asking for the removal of the cross within 30 days. Due to the complaint of one person, who found the cross "offensive and unsightly." So In order to help keep Zach's cross up ,I decided to start this petition which will be presented to the West Melbourne Chambers on April 23, 2019 at 9am. To show the amount of support we have for Zach's cross.
