PETITION TO KEEP OUR REAL NATIONAL ANTHEM

The Canadian government has decided to make a "small" change to our already perfect national anthem. Instead of "in all our son's command" the new anthem will say "In all of us command". I don't know about you, but I feel as if that strips us of our heritage completely. I actually feel insulted by this change. I wouldn't change our anthem for the world. No matter how righteously compelling your reason.

During World War 1 and World War II, our sons fought on the front lines, our sons ensured our safety from around the world, and our son's died in horrible ways no man or woman should ever have to endure. To remove this line would be to forget the sacrifices they made. And people, LEST WE FORGET. Keep in mind this was a time when we sheltered our women and children from combat almost completely and did so with pride.

A change like this should involve the voice of every single Canadian because that is what Canada stands for. I believe our history is too important to change for any reason, and I am proud to sing our anthem the way it is! Of course I would never sing that cheap ripoff version anyway.
