Jackie Chan is best known for being in movies, but not many people are aware of his continued work to stop animals suffering mainly in China and Asia. He has worked with numerous charities along the way including PETA and WSPA. In 2008 he worked extremely hard to campaign and expose the horrors of bear farms in China and Asia, including making a short film to get the word out about  the inhumane conditions that bears have to live in for most of their lives. on numerous ocassions he spoke out about the horrors of the rhino horn trade insisting that they should NOT be poached so that their horns can be used for chinese tradition medicne. Rhino horn basically is made up of keratin which is human hair and should never be used for medicne. He was also horrified to learn hat the chinese poach tigers just for their bones again to be used for tradition chinese ways. He worked alongside PETA to campaign to the chinese government that they ought to stop the mass dog slaughter all because of rabies, the government should be tackling this problem with coming up with vaccines for the poor dogs, raher than slaughtering them in such an horrific way. I think Jackie Chan is a wonderful person for speaking up for animals like this. please join me and thank him for all he does to help the millions of animals that suffer miserably, not forgetting the unbelievable horrendous death sentence that innocent animals have to face every single day. Mr Chan i think you're awesome, keep up the great work.
