Killer Janitor Strikes Again! Stop the massacre of wild birds!

Markus Meister (ex-janitor of the Seetal Schule, Kreuzlingen Switzerland) and his wife Irene Meister (current janitor of the Seetal Schule) are apparently determined to eliminate all the wild birds from the schoolyard where they live. Last year, Markus Meister allegedly shot a raven on the school grounds and killed the wounded bird before animal activists could rescue it. In the past few days, Markus Meister was observed by the same animal activists molesting several birds and tossing out suspicious bits of food. Two days later, all the birds that called the schoolyard home vanished, including a special crow called "Charlie." Charlie was very special because he was raised by humans and was featured in the local newspapers, and was the subject of an upcoming novel called Bird Wars . . . Saving Charlie. The area around the schoolyard has become a "dead zone," and the crows, magpies, and sparrows that once nested in the surrounding trees have disappeared. We believe Markus and Irene Meister have been systematically poisoning birds as we watched the number of birds diminish day-by-day. In the last two weeks, no birds were observed feeding on the extensive lawns that surround the school, which is very unusual because as long as the animal activists lived in the area (about eleven years), there have always been birds feeding on these lawns. Please sign the petition demanding Irene and Markus Meister vacate the school grounds and that Irene Meister is dismissed from her job. People that poison birds and other wildlife are no role models for children in elementary school. Poisoning is a very painful death and is illegal under Swiss law. Charlie could not be saved. As long as people like Irene and Markus Meister are in positions of power, our local birds and wildlife are in danger. Please stop the massacre! The signatures will be forwarded to Seraina Perini, President of the Primary and Secondary Schools Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. You can also contact her via e-mail: s.perini@schulekreuzlingen.ch or phone +41 0716771000. You can make a difference to protect our wildlife! Thank you from our hearts, Diana and Bryant Dorsch
