Dear Fellow Students of Oak Ridge High School,
As you all may know their has been a new school added to the Conroe ISD school district by the name of Grand Oaks High School. The school has many new amenities that Oak Ridge High School has never had before. As we all can see, GOHS is zoned to the wealthy neighborhoods like The Falls, Benders Landing, Harmony etc. Meanwhile, ORHS Is zoned to the often low income community. While they get a brand new squeaky clean school we get hallways of nothing but stench and dead roaches. This petition may sound as if we are ungrateful students and that we do not cherish the amenities that have already been given to us at Oak Ridge. We love the people at Oak Ridge, but our school is pretty run down and outdated. We want to be in the same comfortable environment as the other students attending GOHS. So let us all come together and sign this petition to make Oak Ridge great again!
