Grenada is a small island country in the Carribean teeming with beautiful and diverse animals of all kinds. That includes the small Grenada frog, an endangered species endemic to the islands, and many fish and bird species.
While Grenada has a law focusing on domesticated animal mistreatment, it does not currently have one focusing on endangered animals.
We are calling on the Parliament of Grenada to pass a law outlawing the capture, exportation, taking, possession, selling, or transporting of any vulnerable or endangered species (as determined by the International Union for Conservation of Nature).
We believe this law will make Grenada an option for eco-concious travelers, help protect important biodiversity in the region, and protect species that generations to come can appreciate.
