Make a difference this Earth Day! Create a Materials Recovery Facility in Reno

The average Nevadan produces almost twice the national average of trash, according to a report from the American Society of Civil Engineers.

There is a program called 1 Big Bin. This program uses a Materials Recovery Facility which sorts trash through an assembly line in order to properly recycle.

This system allows residents to throw garbage away in one bin. Many people don't know how to properly recycle or just don't want to. This process can be expensive but it will help the environment drastically in the future.

My goal is to get 1,000 signatures to spread awareness and hopefully this will be an option for Reno, NV in the near future.
