Stop abuse/cruelty to animals, those who commmit this crime that results in permanent injury or death should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. New statutes of the law should be written if the abuse/cruelty was intentional neglect or premeditated murder, etc each would have a different level of sentancing, fines, parole time, but all would include the suspect to be forbidden in this country to own a pet for the remainder of their life. They also would be placed on the National Domestic Pet Database, which would be available for all to review, just as it is for sex offenders. This is to help protect pet owners in their neighborhoods, if everything on this petition gets passed. I am asking for Stiff punishment for abuse/cruelty to animals. They are a responsibilty, not a piece of property. I have seen many heinous crimes from animals beaten to death, to animals being starved and kept in filthy conditions, to being burned to death, and poisoned. I shed tears for everyone of them. Its time to make it stop, I need the help of the government and everyones signatures...Please help, if you love dogs and cats, you should be signing to protect them and other homeless and unwanted animals who only wish they had a home. My dream is to have a facility to house a permanent home for at least 50-75 homeless/unwanted dogs in memory of my beloved Shiloh. Each life saved fulfills the promise I made to him.
