Ask Disney & Universal Theme Parks to require soles for guide dogs' paws in the hot summer months.

As my family and I were enjoying our summer at Disneyworld, it was so hot we constantly took breaks in the building and would try and find a fan that would spritz out water at the park to keep us cool. Not much help but better then nothing.

Summer can be very brutal in Orlando, Florida, and we encountered a very sad situation. Unfortunately it was out of our hands at that moment. It's was 97 degrees out, but in the hot sun the sidewalk can heat up to 143 degrees. We witnessed a lady with a guide dog and her friend walking on the cement in the heat. We noticed her guide dog was prancing and picking up his leg while trying to guide her to the shade to cool his paw off. Unfortunately at this moment we noticed that they kept pulling the dog to the hot asphalt.

We asked them to kindly please check the guide dog because his paw might be burned from the heat. I explained that's why the dog was pulling the to inside the shaded area so that his paws could take a break. Unfortunately that didn't sit well. They shrugged us off and told us to mind our own business and yanked the dog back to the hot asphalt. We did notify one of the Disney members, but they looked at us with no intention to help. That poor dog was walking on hot asphalt all day, and I'm pretty sure his paws were burned.

Please help me get Disney & Universal and all the major Theme Parks to require shoe pads and shaded water pads for all guide dogs to cool off during the hot months.
