Boycott Park County Wyoming

We the undersigned hereby boycott Park County Wyoming, including the Town of Cody.

We are instituting this boycott for the following reasons:

1. Selective enforcement of the law. Park County has chosen to selectively target employees of Yellowstone National Park to obtain an expensive vehicle registration from the county. Despite many employee's seasonal status, and without regard to these employees having valid vehicle registrations in their home state, the county  intends to target these park employees. By visually looking for the park employee sticker which must be applied to every park employee's vehicle, the county expects a temporary employee to incur hundreds of dollars in expense. Essentially the County wants non residents to become residents. This could adversely affect many college students tuition who work in the park during the summer. No other employer or it's employees in the area are facing this type of selective enforcement.

2. Park County provides little to no services inside Yellowstone. Park County provides no law enforcement and no fire protection services within Yellowstone. They also do not provide any road maintenance. Additionally they do not provide any polling locations within the boundaries of the park in order to allow residents to participate in elections. In essence, Park County expects Yellowstone employees to pay taxes, without receiving services from the government in which they fund.

Therefore we the undersigned will not visit Cody or Park County Wyoming, and will not conduct any type of commerce within these jurisdictions until this selective enforcement is ceased.
