As a nature lover, I love the beauty and environment witnessed in so many of our national parks. Whether it is to just view the scenery, find a quiet place for a small picnic or take a stroll on one of its numerous paths, our National Parks have so much to offer that is breathtaking to most. Not only are these parks for human pleasures, there are various numbers of wildlife that call these areas their home and habitat.
Keeping these areas in pristine healthy conditions requires time, money and maintenance. The concern is a proposal presented to the U. S. U. S. Congress – America’s National Parks are crucial for our environment and pleasure, not to mention providing home and sustenance to many various species and wildlife. I am in full support of the increase in funding that has been proposed for the Fiscal Year 2017 for these gorgeous national parks. With the celebration of the National Park Service Centennial Year, increased funding is necessary to keep up with the many challenges, changes and maintenance that is required to keep our parks healthy and beautiful. Please ensure we have your full support and ensure the National Park Service has the funding and resources it needs to fulfill that mission.
