Gina Grubb is a candidate for Delegate for Bernie Sanders from the Great State of Tennessee. She is a dynamic, intelligent, passionate Democrat who believes the Democratic Party is at a critical mass to affect real progress in this country. Regardless of who ultimately wins the nomination, Gina knows that the Democratic Platform must address the issues raised by both Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders in a way that unites the Party for a victory in November and sets the course for real economic and social growth in the coming years.
Gina has lived in Tennessee since the age of two and has worked in law enforcement, business, and education. She is currently a middle school teacher and married her life partner of 18 years in October in a spectacular celebration of LGBT equality. Together with their son, Gina and her wife spent years working side by side with countless other activists and in one-on-one dialogue to change hearts and minds about the LGBT community. She is ready and willing to take that experience and spirit of determination to the DNC for the betterment of all marginalized and downtrodden people!
