My daughter Kaitlin Meis got into some trouble 2 years ago and was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for Juveniles. At the time I was lost and didn't know where to turn and so i turned it over to the people that were supposed to help me and now these very people are stopping her from coming home. Granted she hasn't been a perfect angel since she has been in the treatment center she has made very large strides in behavior, self image and how she handles situtations. Even her case worker has stated that her behavior is not the problem it's being assertive that she is working on.
Her behavior is what got her there if it is okay, don't you think it's time for her to come home! If she would have committed these few little scrapes with the law as an adult she would have served her time and been off of probation by now. I don't believe they are being fair anymore and it is time for them to release her home to me where i can also get her the help she needs.
Her family is here for her and please Governor release her from her sentence and bring her home!
Sincerely,
Brenda Kay Meis-Krug
