Demand that your safety & tenant rights are no longer ignored!

The Camden Martinique community we live in is not only unsafe but also, in direct violation of many of the rights we have as tenants in California! California law states that a landlord has a legal responsibility for its tenants safety and security. As many of you already know, Camden management has been made aware on several different occasions by several different tenants, of criminal activity that's occurred within our community. Camden management has chosen to not take any steps to resolve any of the security issues and THAT is a violation of our rights AND their legal responsibility! There have been numerous vehicle break ins, vehicle theft, license plate theft, countless problems with homeless people dwelling within our community committing illegal acts most prevalent being drug use and theft! This is unacceptable! Equally unacceptable, is being forced to pay for services in which we do not use OR, if we do choose to use those services, then we should only be charged for the times the service actually does what it's paid to do. We DEMAND that Camden be made to uphold their legal responsibilities in keeping our community and all its tenants safe! We demand better security and the installation and use of security cameras! We demand there be an employee of Camden to be living on site that can be reached 24/7 in the case of an emergency as required by California state law. We demand for services we are forced to pay for to become an optional service for tenants. Camden Martinique residents are tired of not being heard and DEMAND that changes be made within the community! If these demands are not met by Camden management/owner within 60 days of the date this petitionis filed, then the residents of this community will be forced to take legal Action against Camden Living Trust.
