Make all schools have American Sign Language as a Second/Foreign Language

Many states recognize that American Sign Language can be considered a foreign language, and used to meet a credit requirement. Though Sign Language is involved in this, many schools do not actually offer an ASL class.

Sign Language should be available because it is just like any other foreign language (French, German, etc). I believe that Sign Language should be available in all schools.

I am writing this petition to send to our Secretary of Education so that she can see this is important to many people. I hope with this it will be a requirement for all schools to offer a sign language class.
