Say no to the closure of Leek and Cheadle hospitals

North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group are planning to close Leek and Cheadle's community hospitals.
These two hospitals give invaluable services to their communities - communities which are distant from the other centres of treatment.
Their closure would cause significant hardship to ordinary people and must not be allowed to happen
Update #310 years ago
There are 751 signatures on the online petition now. So it's still growing! Don't forget that although they are telling us that Leek Moorlands hospital is not going to be closed Cheadle is still at risk.
Update #210 years ago
There was a meeting yesterday involving the Mayors and Deputy Mayors of Leek and Cheadle and Dr J. Oxterby and Marcus Warnes of the North Staffordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. At that meeting the CCG said that Leek Hospital will not be closed and that the beds will stay open.
The future of Cheadle hospital is still under discussion.
Thank you to everyone who has signed the online petition it has obviously helped. We need to keep up the pressure to save Cheadles hospital.
