Doctors and nurses across Canada are not treating all their patients the same way, like they should

Some doctors and nurses all throughout Canada have been showing a pattern of racist and biased behaviour towards their Aboriginal patients. They are not being treated with equity alongside all other patients. Many doctors and nurses are not informing their patients of what severe issues could be happening to their bodies. The FNMI population is increasing day by day, meaning the mental and physical issues will continue and rates may get even higher. This issue cannot be ignored. Boards of every hospital will need to be contacted so this problem can be brought to light. Fixing this issue will better help doctors and nurses, Aboriginals, and the relationship of the rest of Canada's population with Aboriginals. Fixing an issue like this is a big step towards reconcilliation with Aboriginals and the rest of Canada. This petition is being put into place so that all doctors nurses with a medical license will have to take a mandatory course dealing with Aboriginal health issues.

Please note, this petition is not meant in any way to bash doctors or nurses. We appericiate their hardwork very much, but we are just trying to bring light to this issue and create a better bond with FNMI communities throughout Canada.
