End Single-Use Plastic in Our School Cafeteria in MHS.

My cause is making our school cafeteria a bit more green. This issue is about how much plastic we use and throw away every day at lunch. One significant issue related to our cause is that we use plastic forks and plates for a few minutes and then they just go to the trash. This problem affects the environment and our school because all that plastic takes a really long time to go away. This is important because it's not good for the planet to keep making so much trash if we can avoid it. Without change, the waste in our cafeteria could just keep piling up every year. One way to solve this is to talk about how we can use better materials in the cafeteria. Our school should consider using things that we can wash and reuse, or at least stuff that isn't just plastic. People should help by signing this petition to help solve this issue. Together, we can make our school a cleaner place for everyone.
