What's the point of summer break , if we still have homework ? And for the smarter kids we are assigned MORE ! If we are burdened with homework while we are supposed to have fun , when are we supposed to make time for a break ?This is very important for many reasons . Other kids from in state , and out of state , don't have to do any summer homework . Therefore , having time to themselves that they wouldn't have time for during school . For other students , the only difference between summer break and school , is that you don't have to wake up early in the morning . For kids who are assigned work , they try to enjoy their break and start homework at the last moment - which isn't their faults . Either way , the due dates and the expectations are unrealistic and barely achievable . In school , we take MONTHS to finish books that are half the sizes of the books assigned over summer ! We have 3 months to finish and do work on 2-3 books ! Stop this now , and sign !
