We want more diversity and recognition of international talents in Australia's Property Industry

Our Property industry, and the world we live in, has changed. According to RICS, over 50% of real estate transactions are now international. This means that for any real estate industry to survive, it has never been more vital that the industry globalises. Furthermore, a significant proportion of investments into Australia's real estate market has been driven by offshore investors across Asia and the rest of the world.

As the future of Australia's property industry, we the alumni and students of Property & Construction in Australia, are calling for more diversity and recognition of international talents.

This international talent pool includes both Australian born property talents from diverse backgrounds and top international talents.

Together, we are calling for a more international Property industry, in the spirit of equal opportunities, diversity and the future prospects of our industry. The growth of our industry is important for Australia and Australians as Property has now become Australia's largest employer.

Update #24 years ago
Hi fellow champions,
It has been a while since we all signed this petition. Few months have passed and life has gone on.

But meanwhile, API, with whom this petition was shared, has launched a nationwide National Leadership Series on diversity and inclusiveness. This series will be taken to each major city in Australia. It is truly commendable of API and its leadership.

Thank you again for your support. You have a voice. Your voice has been heard :)

Kind regards,
Mariko
