Make Juneteenth a national holiday

In light of Juneteenth and the truth of African American's independence of being free, I believe this day should have national awareness. This day is very important to people of color in America that gets overlooked by the Fourth of July. During the time of the Declaration of Independence many people of color were still slaves. Fredrick Douglas stated "This Fourth of July is yours, not mine. You may rejoice, I must mourn...." and the same is until this day.

Why must only the independence from Great Britain be a celebration national and not the celebration from the people of color being free? Is the Emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African Americans in the Confederacy not a great thing to celebrate national since we are the know as the land of the free? Is America upset with Juneteenth to the point it can't be publicize global? Are we only good for one month out the year to Learn about about African-American history? But isn't African-American history American history? I believe and many of us believe there should be a celebration for Juneteenth and the 4th of July and all Americans should celebrate this in honor of all.
