Demand the UK Government Does Not Scale Down Climate Change and Illegal Wildlife Measures

The UK Government is planning to scale down current climate change and illegal wildlife measures in an effort to attract post-Brexit trade, according to a report in independent.co.uk

The story states that secret documents have revealed: "Trade and growth are now priorities for all posts - you will all need to prioritise developing capability in this area. Some economic security-related work like climate change and illegal wildlife trade will be scaled down."

There are no jobs on a dead planet. Climate change is a grim reality and to 'water-down' laws initiated to stop the illegal wildlife trade for profit is simply immoral.
