Owner of flushed hamster should be held accountable.

Belen Aldecosea of Miami, Florida has said that an employee of Spirit Airlines told her to flush her "emotional support" hamster when they wouldn't allow it on the plane. There seems to be no indication that she was told that by the airline, she was only not allowed on the plane. She says that she tried to rent a car, but was "too young" and her family and friends were "hours away". She said she flushed the hamster in the toilet, because it was "more humane" than letting it loose. Neither option is humane, it is abuse and torture. She states herself that the hamster "cried" out while in the toilet. This is animal abuse, and she should be charged. She did not attempt to find any alternate solution. From reports it doesn't appear that she tried to contact anyone regarding the situation. She did not seek help from any animal organizations or Animal Control. She did nothing but murder this animal that she claims was to support her in an emotional capacity. The manner in which she did this, is extremely cruel.
