The City Of Burlington awarded Patrick Brown a lifetime achievement award for his Recognition in Vermont Racial Justice Alliance and also got himself featured in a book named "Legendary Locals Of Burlington".

1991, A black man in Los Angeles was beaten by White Officers Named "Rodney King".
Patrick Brown took the lead of 1500 Protestors and outrageously stepped into city hall.
Brown was successful in influencing Vermont to decide on a state holiday and achieved annual ceremonies to honor Dr. King.
After 30 years, Brown is still raising his voice even in those states which have a black population of less than 2%.

Brown said, "Diverse Leadership and increased sensitivity will help promote change."
