Travelling to India fo rmany years and living there I have seen such sights of cruelty to the stray dogs that most animal lovers would make their heartbreak. Both my fiancee and myself have seen such devasting actions from our own species to these poor animals. Half their faces are torn off when cars dont stop and no one cares, we fed a female dog who was pregnant who lived in our estate and all you could see where her ribs. We fed her good hearty food to strength her as did only one or two of the middle class Indians an she gave birth to healthy puppies which we continued to feed. I am Australian, my fiancee Indian, he is more used to seeing these unimaginable conditions and he loves animals and does his best. They are wounded, kicked, used for car practise, and we must and the animal societies must , they must help do something about this cruelty. It is time. It breaks my heart living there, but we have our own breed of strays we take care of. The amount of signatures doesnt matter, If anyone travels there, and you see something mistreating the animal, fight back at them, dont listen to the guide, buy some bread or biscuits, because they wlll love you for it. Please, please help these wonderful creatures. Also the sacred cows there......they eat cardboard and plastic to find food. We need to enter that country and clean it up, there is too much death there. I have put up no visuals as I cannot handle seeing this trauma violated on them anymore.
Care2, IFAW,WSPA, so many more animal organisations helping so many animals throughout the world. Please I beg and implore you, please help the normal dogs in India, we must come up with a solution and stop the abuse and attacks on them and work with the animal NGO's in India. A dog's life is as precious as any living creature. Please help.
