Bring a Dragstrip to Lubbock Now!

The issue is people racing on the suburban streets and main roads in Lubbock. Street Racing in Lubbock has increased drastically over the past few years due to the lack of a convenient place such as a Dragstrip or a Road Course Track to race on. The resolution to this problem is to convert the 6500' asphalt runways at Reese Air Force Base to a Dragstrip to accommodate all the racing enthusiasts. The increased traffic and revenue from the events held here would not only benefit the community but the city of Lubbock as a whole.
