STOP THE BUILDING OF A ROCKET LAUNCH PAD ON HAWAII ISLAND

There is consideration of building a rocket launch pad on Hawaii Island (the Big Island) ...a vote was taken today. Hawaii island has three active volcanos and many earthquakes little ones that occur on a daily basis. Although the lava has stopped erupting since August 2018, there is evidence of magma flowing deep below the surface. With the seismic activity however minor that occurs and the potential for Mauna Loa or Kilauea or even a third volcano to erupt and there is the potential danger as happened last May 2018 in Hawaii's East Rift Zone. Rocket launching in a populated area has the potential for  noise pollution, and possibly could cause increased seismic activity which could in turn  trigger eruptions. The possibilities of danger are a reality.  Preserve the beauty and serenity of the Big Island.  East Hawaii island does not need a rocket Launching pad.
