Demand That the Iowa DOT Replace the Over 1000 Trees and Shrubs They Removed for Highway Expansions!

  • by: Zachary A

The Iowa Department of Transportation cut down over 1000 trees & shrubs in order to expand Highway 30 from a 2 lane road to a 4 lane road between Tama and Cedar Rapids, roughly a 50 mile area is affected. Not only do these trees produce fresh oxygen they also provided habitat for wildlife in the area. Stand with me to demand that the Iowa Department of Transportation plant an equal number of new trees throughout the state to help restore habitats and provide fresh air for the people of Iowa.
