Released March 1, 2011, The Wise Man's Fear was the second book in Patrick Rothfuss' King Killer Chronicles. 9 years later the third installment titled "The Doors of Stone" has been described as the biggest literary blue-balling in history. With the internets latest release date of Aug 20, 2020 falling on its face, leaving Audible fans searching for "The Doors of Stone" getting a top search result of an erotic novel recounting first-timers back door sexual exploits. Rothfuss's own Editor says for the last 6 years Patrick hasn't added a single word to Qvolth's pursuit of vengeance and power that lead to his degraded existence as tavern/Inn owner Coat. It's time to pull a "Sanderson". That's right - a "Sanderson" Like was achieved in completing Robert Jordan's epic series the fans demand intervention and request via this petition to build support to have DAW Books hire Brandon Sanderson to complete the King Killer Chronicles. Even if it means a page one re-write I'm confident King Killer fans will see "The Doors of Stone" sooner with Brandon writing as Patrick than leaving Patrick to his "when I get around to it" compliancy.
