This petition is being drawn up because of the lack of doing what is right. The principal of Laurens Marathon School has not done his job properly in regards to bullying and keeping his hands to himself. He is also allowing a child back into or school that is a threat to all children of the school after the student brought an "air soft" gun to school. The principal has had many concerns brought to him concerning bullying situations in our school and all he says is "kids will be kids" or "If the child was not hell bent on causing problems then they would not deserve what they got." Also the principle has had inappropriate contact with students of the school. Mr Troy Oehlertz needs to be removed as our principal of Laurens Marathon school. His failure to report situations that harm our kids warrants him to lose his job. Solution: remove Mr Oehlertz and find a more qualified person to safe guard our children.
