Don't Let The White House Blackball Press For Negative Coverage

Today White House press secretary Sean Spicer held a press gaggle in his office instead of on camera in the briefing room like normal. But not all press outlets were allowed to attend. 

The White House refused to allow outlets who have been critical of Trump to attend the briefing. 

This is the most recent way that the White House is trying to control the media and limit the freedom of the press. The New York Times, CNN, The Hill, Politico, BuzzFeed, the Daily Mail, BBC, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Daily News were some of the groups not permitted to attend. The associated press and Time Magazine were allowed, but boycotted because of the ludicrous nature of hand picking which outlets can cover things. 

We cannot let the freedom of the press be limited in this way. With such a scary and unique administration in power, we must demand access to the goings on of the White House. Sign on to demand the White House allows all news outlets to cover press briefings going forward.
