We want a local BBC Peterborough Radio Station

Since the loss of Paul Stainton and Richard Spendlove from BBC Radio Cambridgeshire payroll the lack of local news covering the Peterborough area has been shocking not to mention the poor features and amateur presenting of programmes. Those 2 presenters alone used to attract over 50,000 regular listeners each and the station is now a fraction of that level across all programmes. BBC Radio Cambridgeshire just seems to focus on Cambridge only so it is about time the BBC gave us a BBC Peterborough service too. The studio is there but barely used, get back Paul and Richard to head the team and lets get local news out to local people and keep our community properly informed.
