Lane College: The HBCU that FAILED a Black Man

Its almost 10 months later, I just now built up the courage to put my ego/ pride to the side and speak up for myself publicly:

I was Sexually assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by 10-15 Lane College students on campus inside of the Graves Hall male dormitory back in October of 2024. After I was invited inside the building by a student of the school, who set me up for this sexual assault/ robbery to take place inside his dorm room. This incident was recorded from 2 different phone angles and posted on social media. Even with all documentation I was still brought no accountability or explanation just silence. THIS IS MY STORY. (no allegations)

The full context to my situation and why I’m speaking publicly, there’s deep corruption in my hometown Jackson, Tennessee. My name is tied to one of the most controversial events to happen there in 2024. I’m not afraid to use my platform to stand for something bigger than myself. This isn’t about MONEY, VIEWS, or RACISM it’s about RIGHT and WRONG!! Because it didn’t happen to one of their own, they tried to downplay and dismiss my situation, as if my civil rights weren’t violated…

I’m not looking for sympathy or a GoFundMe donation. I’m just asking that you watch my short-cut Interview, and share your honest thoughts so it can reach the people who needs to see it. I’m grateful I didn’t crash out!! Both Lane College & the Jackson Police Department are both responsible for the failure to investigate, leaving me stuck without acess to free legal representation. (No Suspects were able to be identified. So that left me with no case to pursue against Lane College) The bias shown by both institutions is clear. Social media is very powerful, and I’m using my platform to speak up for myself and others who’ve may have been through similar situations. You’re never alone. You have to realize how many people WOULDN’T have been able walk away and handle the situation like I did (as I’m currently doing now, being an advocate) So I don’t expect everyone to understand the justice I’m fighting for. You didn’t experience what I did, you can’t see my perspective. Please SHARE‼️SHARE‼️SHARE‼️SHARE‼️SHARE‼️, Tag all news and media outlets.. this situation is bigger than myself now🤷🏿‍♂️💯
