Tell University of Chicago to Cancel Steve Bannon Talk

A professor at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago has invited Steve Bannon to speak there and he accepted. As a person who lives in Chicago, I do not want this man to even come to the city and be given any platform.

Steve Bannon is considered by many to be one of the main reasons we have Donald Trump as the current president. He is the former White House chief strategist. He is also an unhinged, hate-filled man. Just take a look at his biggest, longest project: Breitbart News. Essentially, Steve Bannon is the poster boy and mastermind for one of the largest platforms for racism, sexism and alt-right views in America.

The professor who invited him is saying he is interested in what he has to say. Well, giving this man a public voice is one of the reasons we are in such a big mess right now. So no, we shouldn't be interested in what he has to say. And we shouldn't give him a voice at one of the most prestigious business schools in the country.

There is a protest happening Friday February 2 from 3-5 at the Booth School of Business.
