WHS ALUMNI DEMANDS returning the Senior Composites to the hallways.
WHS tradition, along with many others schools have always had the Senior Composites up in the hallways starting back in the 60's. This tradition has been enjoyed by countless visitors and guests, as well as families of the Seniors, and the Seniors themselves. They have been taken down due to painting the hallways and they will go on digital files. The originals will not be going back up in the hallways where they belong. This petition will be presented to the Winfield RIV-School boards August 2021 meeting.

First I want to thank each of you for taking the time to sign and leave comments! I'm blown away! However, the Board of Education was not so blown away. Please take another moment of your time and reply to their survey which you can find on the Winfield R-IV District website. NOTE: The verbiage is not easily understood, so in a nutshell, choose OPTION # 2. This option puts the ORIGINAL composites back up in the hallways, MINUS the original frames. I wasn't aware of the frame change.

We have made it passed the 500 mark! Woot!!! There is STILL time! The board meeting is August 18th @ 6:30 p.m. Central Office. Since this topic is already on the agenda, we are allowed time to publicly speak to the board, time depending on how many choose to address the board. PLEASE plan on attending this important meeting for all WHS ALUMNI!

Just a little over 24 hours and we are closing in on 400 signatures! Let's keep up the momentum. I truly appreciate...or I should say WHS truly appreciates each and every one of you! Please keep getting the word out!
