To whom it may concern,
Hong Kong is recently facing the greatest danger on politics, economy and social development, especially on human right, due to the extradition law carried out by the HK government and the Beijing power. I believe political reforms are essential part of modernization and you must understand that because your country has been performing democratic and constitutional rule for so long already.
Freedom of speech is a part of human right but if the extradition law really get passed, all the Hong Kong people will be living in terror ever since and every moment. Mainland China always has bad name on her legal system and freedom of speech, Hong Kong people cannot afford to be arrested at anytime due to our judgments and dislike to the Beijing government because we know that their legal system is never independent and clean.
Being a mother of a ten-month-old son, I am extremely worried about my son's future in Hong Kong. I do not want him to be a man learning to lie and concealing what he really thinks because of the high pressure rule from the government. We all should not be put under such a threat by the government!
What made me the most unhappy and sad is that, many of the officials and their family in the government, who are promoting this law, are actually holding citizenships in the your country. If they really believe in Beijing's rule and exploiting people's right, at the same time threatening Hong Kong's future, why should they still be eligible to hold those citizenships? They, the current leaders, should be warned that, what they are doing is absolutely wrong and against your principal and it may cause great danger to your policy and society.
Please assist us and save us from this terrible situation by warning them that their citizenship can possibly be cancelled. I believe this would be very useful to at least stop this extradition law.
