Demand Answers for Meriden's Dirty Drinking Water

The city of Meriden Connecticut recently sent out a letter explaining that the city's public water supply failed a contaminate inspection. This incident happended between 1/1/2018 -3/31/2018. They were fined a undisclosed amount of money.

The explaination in the letter is vague and doesn't answer all the residents' questions. It's also upsetting that this letter was sent out months after the elevated levels of contaminents were found.

It doesn't stop there! In the letter, they request the residents to copy and distribute to fellow Meridians! Are you serious? Are they too lazy to let all taxpayers know what happened? You seem to do fine getting your water and sewer utility bills out in a timely manner.

Something is dirty here in Meriden...and it's NOT just the water! WE expect a public forum and ANSWERS to our questions. This will NOT GO AWAY! PLEASE SIGN PETITION IN SUPPORT OF A OPEN PUBLIC FORUM.
