Demand Lubbock City and County to implement and enforce mandatory spay/neuter of dogs/cats

The city and county of Lubbock, Tx has a crisis of over populated dogs and cats due to irresponsible humans. The crisis of dogs/cats roaming the city and county to starve, being injured by vehicles or wildlife, no shelter and no medical care. Animals are being abandoned in dangerous or secluded areas where they have no way of surviving. Many of these animals are females whom are already pregnant when abandoned or after get abandoned become pregnant. Puppies/kittens are found abandoned and cannot take care of themselves so end up starving or die due to weather extremes or due to not being adequately vaccinated die horrible deaths. If these animals do survive the continuous cycle of propagating to continue the over population of dogs and cats in Lubbock city and county. Implementing MANDATORY SPAY/NEUTER and ENFORCING THESE LAWS would stop the crisis. Educating the public and enlisting the help of reputable animal rescue groups can expedite the goal of saving dogs/cats of Lubbock. Lubbock can be the example of how the entire State of Texas can stop over population of dogs and cats and in some areas of Texas euthanasia for space continues as frequent as weekly. Lubbock , Texas needs to step up and save animals.
