Equal Rights for Disabled Public Transport Users

The story of paralympian Baroness Grey-Thompson being left to crawl off a train on her own, after midnight, despite a request in advance for assistance is absolutely appalling. She was fortunate to be aided by some construction workers. "Disabled" passengers should be able to turn up without prior notice and get assistance without question no matter what time of day or where. Otherwise it is plain discrimination. Those without disabilities are able to come and go as they please. The same should apply to everyone. Such discrimination is a criminal offence.
