The military is not a corporation, we shouldn't have to look a certain way to serve our country!

I keep getting denied to be accepted into the military. I've been the millennial who found their safe place and stayed there. Got tattoos along the way and made body modifications, BUT if someone is willing to lay their life on the line for their country, what does it matter what they look like? People with vitaligo can't even apply due to skin pigment issues. Which is complete horse shit. So what if I have holes through my ears you can see through, or tattoos all over my body. The military is not a corporate environment and shouldn't be treated as such. I've emailed the president over and over with the same response, wait for a waiver or get a petition signed. I'm tired of being casted out when I want to do something with my life, they need to allow equal employment opportunities for the military unless they show signs of mental instability. Point blank.
