Make more Merlin! (Or at least rewrite the end of season 5 so that Arthur doesn’t die)

In the season 5 finale of Merlin, Arthur dies after being stabbed by Mordred in the Battle of Camlann. We (the signers of this petition), believe that another season should be made that shows Arthur's return or at the very least that there should be a rewrite of the last episode where Arthur doesn't die. A lot of viewers were heartbroken when Arthur died and feel that the show shouldn't have ended that way. It doesn't feel like the proper way to end the show and it didn't give the viewers proper closure.
Another reason why we would like another season or a season 5 finale rewrite is because there are many genres that a tv show can be but for Merlin, the tragedy genre is not one of them. So in that case, it shouldn't end with a tragedy!
Every good tv show has at least one theme that all of its episodes follow throughout the course of the show. For Merlin, one of the themes is defying destiny and how Merlin and Arthur's destinies are intertwined. How it's Arthur's destiny to die all along and it's Merlin's destiny to protect him but Arthur's death is not defying destiny but instead fulfilling it so his death goes completely against the theme of the show!
There is a clear and strong interest from many people who would enjoy it and are asking for it. Any box sets that get made or merchandise will get bought because of this interest. Merlin was a popular show and the fandom has only grown, so restarting it would be a good thing with new consumers interested in merchandise and products based on the show.
It is for these reasons that we, as signers of this petition would like a season 5 finale rewrite where Arthur doesn't die or a new season to be made that shows Arthur's return.
