Melania is Right: The Epstein Survivors Should Testify Before Congress. And So Should She

Well, this surprised the hell out of DC today.  And likely scared the crap out of Donald, who really, really wants this story to go away:

"The first lady called on Congress to provide the Epstein survivors with a public hearing.

"Give these victims their opportunity to testify under oath in front of Congress with the power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public, if she wishes, and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the Congressional Record," she said. "Then and only then, we will have the truth." (source)

The odd thing about this is that there really hasn't been much chatter about Melania and Epstein the last few weeks, so this is far more likely to bring attention to it, rather than lessen it.

Is it possible something is about to break in the news about Melania?  Or maybe Donald, and she's trying to distance herself in advance?

Or maybe, her heart has grown by three sizes, breaking the grinch measuring device, and causing her to do the right thing?

Regardless of why she did it, however, she is right that the Epstein victimes deserve justice, and the chance to tell their story before the decision makers who've ingored them for far too long.  They should be invited to testify.

But Melania should testify as well. Under oath. Including questions regarding her husband. And it should happen as soon as possible.
