GMU: Better Parking Accomodations

Commuting students have to run a daily gauntlet just to find parking for class.  Many have resigned themselves to parking at the Field House lots permanently but still pay the same amount for parking permits as everyone else!  Why should I suffer a $225 fee for a year-long permit and then be forced to cross a busy intersection and walk more than 15 minutes to my classroom?  If more parking space can not be made closer to the campus, then at least make available cheaper Field House Lot permits and let us pay less for our exercise!
We the undersigned would like George Mason University to seriously consider either increasing the amount of parking spaces available to students or reducing the cost of parking permits for some lots which are an inconvenience to travel from.  We understand that the university has already provided huge swathes of paved land for us, but the student population will only continue to grow and our problem will only worsen.  Thank you for your attention and please understand that we love our school but we hate our parking situation, help us!
