Get BMX In to Skateparks across the United States!

A week ago I just got a new BMX bicycle. The reason for purchasing was to get out of the house, get some exercise, and create lifelong friends in a friendly, understanding environment. Little did I know, they city tore down Hidden Valley Trails, a worldwide renowned site for jumps made of dirt, and many skateparks do not accept bikes? Now I am only left with one option- wait to see if I can get driven to a skatepark 20 miles away for riding on certain days only for two hours at night. Skateboarders have many great local parks that they can go to anytime they please. It now turns into a civil rights issue that I cannot ride my bicycle in skateparks, but skate boarders can.
Why is it that skate boarders can pursue their dreams in a skate park, but BMX riders cannot ride in those very same skateparks with them? There is NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE to the park from the metal bicycle gringing pegs and their metal pedals. The grinding pegs and pedals are exactly the same and used for the same purpose as skate board trucks, used for sliding on rails and ledges. We already built bike lanes, there is a world-wide community for BMX, millions of riders, and a multi- billion dollar industry for this fast-growing world-wide sport. So why not get our children and fellow citizens and their bikes off the streets and into a healthy, fun, and safe environment. The best way I can defend my cause is through these links to these astounding articles:

These articles provide a powerful and moving approach that combats the "me too" philosophy, and turns this movement into a non-violent and emotional but still logical movement.

I hope you can take 30 seconds of your time to sign this petition to make generations of happy lifetimes to a world-wide fast-growing sport.

We the undersigned want to allow BMX bicycles into skateparks across the United States. It is unfair that the city government tears down BMX dirt jumps and skateparks restrict BMX bicycles into their skateparks. Why can skateboarders pursue their dreams in skateparks, but BMXers cannot?
All we are asking for is to be recognized and included in local skateparks.

The best way I can defend my cause is throught the words of others in these articles:

Please sign this petition so we can get as as many signatures as possible. Then BMXers can print out the petiton, take it to their skatepark, and be included.
Thank you for your time and devotion to a worthy cause.
