Help End Animal Medical Malpractice

I have written a bill called "Lucky's Law".This bill, if passed into law will protect our pet (companions) from negligent veterinarians by holding them liable for pain, suffering, and even death caused by their malpractice. At the present time the judicial system limits the responsibility of such veterinary practitioners to restitution of the purchase price, or replacement value of the animal whose suffering and demise was directly caused by veterinary malpractice. I have presented the bill to an assemblyman and a state senator. They need to see that there is intrest in this bill becoming part of the legislation for it to succeed.

"We the undersigned", expect and require that practitioners of every profession be held to a certain level of excellence, of competence, and of ethical values, this includes veterinarians. Currently there is no legislation holding holding them liable for pain, suffering, and even death caused by their malpractice Animal products and veterinarian services are a multy-billion dollar industry, yet sadly there is little value placed on our pets' well being by the people in whom we place our trust and our animals' very lives. It's time to change this!
