Palin Family - Now is not the time.

The Palin Family has made a horrible choice in accepting the VP nomination with John McCain. The Palin Family has two factors that should have persuaded them to NOT accept the VP nomination.

They are:

1. The Palin Family has an infant child with Down Syndrome. All experts agree, the first 5 years of any child's life are crucial to all areas of development. The importance of development during the first 5 years is increased for special needs children. At this time, The Palin Family should not have accepted the VP nomination to support more consistent scheduling and development intervention by BOTH parents.

2. The Palin Family has a teenage daughter who is pregnant. The Palin famiy should have know that their daughter would become a part of intense media scrutiny. At this time in their daughters life, The Palin Family should be supporting their daughter by NOT accepting the VP nomination from John McCain.

This is NOT a political, gender or religous issue, rather a family issue.

We believe neither Sarah Palin or Todd Palin should have accepted the VP nomination at this time. If Todd Palin was active in politics and offered the same opportunity, we believe he should have declined as well.
